What We Do

Multi-agency Learning from Serious Case Reviews, Domestic Homicide Reviews and Safeguarding Adult Reviews Training Workshops

The challenge for Safeguarding Boards, following a review, is to provide professionals from different agencies with insight into why a tragedy occurred, whilst also ensuring that they understand how to transfer that learning to their professional practice.

At 2hills Consultancy we have experience of bespoke multi-agency training sessions for Safeguarding Boards that achieve those vital outcomes. Using case studies that draw on key learning themes from Reviews, but also national learning, we encourage participants to identify the learning and suggest strategies for improving their own practice.

Sessions are dynamic, interactive and always challenging. They are aimed at frontline professionals and managers. They encourage honest exchanges of opinions and develop collaborative working skills that are transferrable to the workplace.

Safeguarding Level I, II & III packages for Health Professionals including GPs and Continuing Care Teams that take the CCG's key themes and build them into interactive and thought provoking scenario based sessions.

Safeguarding Level I,II & III packages for Hospice and Care Home Professionals including Mental Capacity, consent and information sharing protocols.

We run one-day IMR writing training courses for CSP and LSCBs and Multi-agency groups

The Mental Capacity Act 2005 & Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards  training that explores the process of assessing capacity and the importance of consent. How this may lead to the need for a Best Interest assessment and the legal framework for the use of Restraints, Restrictions and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards. Ensuring participants are informed of recent decisions at court to ensure learning is current.
